Leo B (Leo II) is about 701,000 light-years from Earth, and has a diameter of about 4,200 light-years.
It was discovered in 1950 by Robert G. Harrington and Albert George Wilson, from the Mount Wilson Observatory and the Palomar Observatory in California.
