NGC 7814 (also known as C 43) is a spiral galaxy located about forty-nine million light-years (15.02 megaparsecs) away in the constellation of Pegasus. It has an apparent magnitude of 10.8.

On July 1, 2021, the supernova SN2021rhu was detected by the U.S. Zwicky Transient Facility automatic search program. The maximum brightness was reached on July 16 with magnitude +12.1.
